History of Nagpur Oranges
It was in the year 1896 when Late Shri.Raghujiraje Bhonsletested the fruit for the first time as a kitchen garden plant and it was considered a success. After this experiment, the cultivation of oranges gained momentum and its production increased to a greater extent. These happy fruits soon acquired the status of foreign exchange earning crops.
